The pavilion of Social and Sport Contribution Fund (Daam) in Aspire Park has witnessed influx of thousands of visitors from different age groups to participate in the activities hosted by Daam on the occasion of the National Sports Day as part of its efforts to spread sports as a healthy lifestyle within the Qatari society.

A group of Daam`s officials and employees and their families participated side by side with the visitors in these activities. Moreover, His Excellence Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater, Daam Board Member, attended the activities and stated, during his participation in a sport activity hosted by Daam Pavilion, that the National Sports Day is an occasion to celebrate and exercise sports and it reflects the great vision or our leadership and their belief in the vital role of sports in the society and its human values that contribute to the building and development of communities so that they achieve an outstanding position among advanced countries whose populations enjoy active and healthy lifestyles.

"Daam" Pavilion Officials were keen to provide children with fun and joy in a festive atmosphere of the National Sports Day. Children enjoyed facial paintings and many other activities. Children are allowed to participate in the Day`s activities in order to implant in them the value of exercising sports and to build a healthy and active future generation.

It is worth noting that the Social and Sport Contribution Fund (Daam) has many outstanding contributions in supporting sports promotion activities within the Qatari society and hosting various sports activities including sponsoring the Handball World Cup 2015 for men and UCI Road World Championship 2016. The Fund also cooperates with many government agencies and organizations to support and develop the programs and activities that aim to foster capabilities and benefit individuals and families in the State of Qatar.
